L’intera sonata può essere eseguita su uno strumento con un solo manuale; nella “variazione” la mano sinistra la si può suonare all’ottava inferiore utilizzando un registro di 4’, mentre la mano destra così come scritta utilizzando magari il registro del cornetto.

The full sonata can be performed on an instrument with only one manual organ; in the “Variation”, the left hand can be played at the lower octave by means of a 4’ register, while the right hand as it is written, maybe using the register of the cornetto.
